The story I am about to tell is a sad sad story, but one that must be told. Just one short week ago I went to the happiest place on earth (or so I thought). I have been to Disney World around 20 times in my lifetime and I have never been disappointed… until now. Two of my best friends and I decided that we would dress up to go in to the park. It is something that I have seen become a bigger and bigger trend with the young children over the last few years. When we got to the Magic Kingdom we were stopped by the ticket collectors and told that we would not be allowed to wear are beautiful Princess dresses in to the park. This is very upsetting to me. I had gotten so excited about the idea of dressing up and going to Disney World that when I heard this news my heart felt like it was being ripped out and thrown on the ground and stepped on by an over sized mouse. You make think that all this is bad enough but there is more to this sad story my friends. As we are sitting and thinking of what to do with are freaking sweet dresses the stupid face ticket collectors called security on us. This was by far an over kill for five really chill college age kids. We were then told that only children 10 years and younger are allowed to dress like princesses. I do not like this rule, however I would be much more willing to abide by this rules if I could have found where they were written. I will tell you good people that I could not find where it says 10 years and up can’t dress up it was not at the ticket both, at the gate or on the official web page. I asked a good friend of mine who used to work at Disney world in the Magic Kingdom if she knew of these rules and she told me that she did not even know that these rules existed. I will be writing Disney a strongly worded letter you can best believe. Luckily for us and for Disney they happen to be throwing a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that night and we were allowed to put our costumes back on at 4:00 this only gave me 3 hours in my princess get up while I believe I deserved a full 10 hours.

I wonder who won this fight?
